Meet Dr. Michaels 

Dr. David Michaels

Dr. Michaels graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1986 and, following a locum in the middle east, he returned to Canada and opened Dentistry On Wilson in 1989.

He maintains a strong belief in his own personal and professional development and strives consistently to deliver dental care that goes beyond patient expectations in an environment that is welcoming, comfortable and stress free. “Dr M” maintains an ongoing involvement in residencies, study clubs, and was previously a clinical instructor in dental hygiene at George Brown College.

In 2006 he opened Dentistry On Norwich to serve patients in the Woodstock, Ontario area and now runs the Woodstock Dental and Wellness Centre. WDAW provides all levels of dental treatment including implants, sedation, paediatrics, prosthetics, TMJ treatment and  BOTOX^®   therapy, Invisalign® and traditional orthodontic care. The clinic also offers “sleep dentistry” and full-mouth aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Dr Michaels also sees select patients in need at Woodstock General Hospital.

He maintains an active lifestyle and spends every spare minute he can with his amazing family.

Meet Dr. Jon Lok

Dr. Jon Lok

Dr. Jonathan J. Lok is a dental anesthesiologist who provides sedation and general anesthesia to dental offices in the GTA and beyond. His patients include young children, anxious or phobic patients, those who have had negative dental experiences in the past, people with severe gag reflexes, others who have difficulty with ‘freezing’, the mentally or physically challenged, or those patients who require extensive or uncomfortable treatment.

Dr. Lok graduated from dental school at the University of Toronto in 2001 and in 2004 completed his dental anesthesia training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is recognized by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario as a Certified Specialist in Dental Anesthesia. He is a part-time clinical instructor in the graduate dental anesthesia program at University of Toronto and was the secretary of the Canadian Academy of Dental Anesthesia from 2007 to 2008. He is one of the few dentists in Canada who has extensive training in sedation and general anesthesia.

Dr. Lok is patient, compassionate, and caring, and strives to create a safe and comfortable environment for you or your child.

Meet Dr. Nicole Ng

Dr. Nicole Ng

Dr. Nicole Ng is dedicated to delivering compassionate and comprehensive oral health care individualized to each of her patients.

Originally from Calgary, she completed her undergraduate studies (H. BSc.) and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Toronto, where she was also active in uplifting her community. Her work with the Women in Dentistry Organization continues to support other women in the field, and her involvement with the Build Your Smile Foundation in the past year has helped deliver oral health services to hundreds of underserved individuals in Uganda.

In her free time, Dr. Ng enjoys cooking, rock climbing, and traveling. She is also committed to a profession of life-long learning and strives to make each patient’s visit to the dental chair comfortable and welcoming.
